Health is maintained by appropriate physical activities and nutritional diet. Diet plays an important role in our daily lives. Balanced diet can overcome various health issues because it makes internal organs strong and capable to fight against different germs and viruses. Therefore, it is very important to take care of our health. Various health issues arise due to our carefree attitude towards our health and diet.

1. Heart Diseases

Heart disease is the most common disease and it develops due to unhealthy food patterns or excessive tensions. There is an accumulation of fats and cholesterol in arteries which block the normal pressure of blood flow. This condition could prove fatal if not treated on time. Fast foods have high calories and fats and it is very dangerous for health. Skimmed milk, fresh juices and water should be used for normal blood pressure and smooth functioning of heart.

      Osteoporosis is the condition in which bones get weak due to deficiency of calcium and vitamin D. It usually develops after the age of 40 and is quite common in women than men. Severe conditions could lead to joint problems or arthritis. It can be controlled by consuming food rich in calcium and vitamin D. Sunlight is an active source of vitamin D and milk is best for getting calcium. We can make our bones healthy by including milk in our diet plan and it is also keeps us safe from bone problems in later ages.

      3. Stress & Anxiety

      There are many reasons for developing stress and anxiety. They can also lead to more chronic conditions such as heart attacks and diabetes. Stress depletes vitamin C from our bodies and we feel more stressed and worried. Vitamin C is available in citrus fruits and vegetables and can be used for fighting with stress in an adequate way. Try to spend time in calm places and do yoga and exercise to keep yourself free from worries and tensions.

      4. Diabetes

      Diabetes is getting more common these days and even kids are getting affected by this. Stress and high level of sugar are the main causes of diabetes. Eat energy rich foods and avoid excessive intake of sugar. Kids should be refrained from eating excessive chocolates and soda drinks. Insulin is injected into body at regular intervals to compete with elevated levels of sugar in blood.

      5. Obesity


      Obesity is also very common these days. The main reason for obesity is drinks containing sodium bicarbonate and fast foods which contain high calories and fats. Youngsters and kids are obsessed with junk food and it results in obesity which further leads to various medical and psychological issues.

      6. Asthma

      Asthma is more common in polluted areas. It is the type of allergy and can be caused due to pollen, cold or flu. Asthma obstructs the normal breathing of individuals. High calorie foods should be avoided in asthma because they can further deteriorate the health conditions.
